What is a variant?
Adding variants to a product allows for the various options of a product to be catered for. Whether it be size, colour, material, brand or pattern, options allows for flexibility.
Follow the steps below when wanting to add a variant to a product, so that this can be reflected in the payment channel of choice, enabling the specific products you sell to be reflected in all sales reporting.
Step 1: When creating a product, one of the attribute options that can be configured is "variant". Click + Add Variant to set this up.
Step 2: Specify the variant name - (this can be anything that makes sense to help classify your product). A suggested list of typical variant names is provided for, but you can specify anything else by simply typing a new one.
Step 3: Once selected or created, up to 15 variant options are catered for, with the feature of being able to specify individual selling and cost prices where applicable.
