Understanding Prepaid Refunds

This guide is designed to help you understand the refund rules for Ikhokha prepaid products.

Prepaid Balance Refunds

Please be aware that any funds added to your IK prepaid balance are non-refundable. Once you have loaded funds into your account, you cannot reclaim them as cash or credit back to your bank account or card.

Prepaid Product Purchase Refunds

When it comes to prepaid products like vouchers, it's important to know that these purchases are final. This means that once you buy a voucher, it cannot be returned or refunded. Make sure you are certain about your purchase before proceeding.

Changes in Ownership or Entity

If there is a change in the ownership or the legal entity of your account, the prepaid balance funds will remain under the original account details. However, you can still access and use these funds. To do this, simply continue using the old login details on the Flyer, or through the IK App on your phone.

You can use your prepaid balance for various transactions, such as:

  • Selling prepaid products to customers
  • Topping up municipal bills
  • Buying airtime
  • Making online purchases with Shoprite using an OTT voucher
