Sending a Payment Request
Need to get paid but your customer isn’t with you? No problem. iKhokha has enabled all merchants to easily send payment requests to their clients who are not in front of them.
NOTE: Currently only available on the Android iKhokha app.
With the Send Pay Request function you can easily send payment requests to anyone, anywhere, via a weblink in an SMS or email.
The customer will receive instructions on how to pay you, including the payment link that will direct them to the Masterpass app to make payment. If your customer does not have the app, they will be directed to their app store to download it. Once the payment is successful you will receive a notification.
To Send a Payment Request:
- Go to More Options
- Click on Send Pay Request
- Enter the amount
- Click the Checkout button
- Click on the Next button
- Fill in your customer’s details
- Click the Send Pay Request button
- Email or SMS the receipt to your customer
- Get a “Your payment request has been sent” message.
It’s as easy as that. It doesn’t matter if your customer is in Potchefstroom or Polokwane, they can still pay!
