iK Flyer Cash Ups

Cash ups on the iK Flyer allows you to print a consolidated list of transactions completed for the last cash up period. You can then compare this list to your transactions loaded on your POS software.

Q: How do I perform a Cash Up on the iK Flyer 

A: You can use the iK Flyer cash up option to print a list of transactions, since the last close-of-day, at any time. Each time you print the report, you will be asked if you would like to end the day, select NO if you are not ready to cash up the shift and close the day.

  1. Go to “Manage” in the bottom right of the screen
  2. Select “Cash Up” from the list of options
  3. You will see a summary of all your card transactions and the total since your *last cash up
  4. Select the “Print Full Report” option
  5. A list of all transactions since the last cash up will print
  6. Once the report has finished printing, you will be asked if you would like to close off the day
    1. Select “Close Day” to complete the cash up - any new transactions from this point onwards will be part of a new cash up report, similar to a Z Report
    2. Select “No” if you are not ready to close the shift - any new transactions from this point onwards will get added to the report until you close the day, similar to a Z Report


Q: How do I end the day on the iK Flyer and cash up a shift like a Z report?

A: You can use the iK Flyer cash up option to print a list of transactions and end the shift by closing off the day. Each time you print the report, you will be asked if you would like to close the day. Select CLOSE DAY if you want to end the shift.



Q: How can I print a running list of transactions for the day like an X report?

A: You can use the iK Flyer cash up option to print a list of transactions, since the last close-of-day, at any time. Each time you print the report, you will be asked if you would like to end the day, select NO if you are not ready to cash up the shift and close the day.



Q: When trying to print a Cash up, I get a message saying "Your report is empty"

A: Cash ups on the iK Flyer is a printed daily sales report that allows you to print a list of transactions and close the day to prepare for you next day of trading. The cash up feature requires you to be connected to the internet to generate the report. Below is a few reasons why your report will be empty:

  • Check your connectivity. If your internet connectivity is unstable, you will need generate the full report again.
    1. Return to the main "Manage" screen (press the back arrow)
    2. Select cash up
    3. The summary of transaction should load to indicate the the report is ready to print
    4. Press the "Print Full Report" button to print your cash up
  • Check that you did process transactions on the device you are cashing up. Cash ups only shows transactions completed on the device you are using to print the full report

 

Your cash up report will display all transactions since the last cash up was completed. If you haven’t completed a cash up, you will get a list of transactions for the last 24 hours. Your cash up will contain transactions for a maximum period of 72 hours or the last 1000 transactions



Q: Do I have any other option than to print my daily cash up?

A: Email cash ups are no longer available on iK Flyer from app version 3.2.10. You can view your transaction history for all transactions.



Q: Can I print a Summary report?

A: You can view a summary of your transactions since your last close-of-day by selecting “Cash up” when you navigate to the “Manage” option at the bottom right of the screen. The ability to print this Summary report is not yet available.



Q: What happens if I run out of paper while printing a cash up?
Don’t select the CLOSE DAY option, replace the paper and select “Print Full Report”



Q: Can I see transactions completed by all staff members?

A: A Printed Cash up report will contain all transactions completed on a specific card machine, regardless of which staff member was logged into the device. If you would like to see a detailed breakdown of transactions by staff member, you can visit iKhokha.biz


 

Q: Do I need to do a cash up to get my transactions settled into my bank account?

A: No. All the transactions will automatically get settled to your bank account each day. The cash up functionality on the iK Flyer gives you an easy way to print a list of transactions and keep track of shifts by closing the day.
