What is Stock Management?
Stock Management is the process of tracking, controlling and organizing all your products that your business keeps in order to sell. This ensures that you have enough products to sell, you know when to re-stock items that are running low or out of stock and you know exactly how much stock you have at any time.
How to track your stock:
- Firstly, you would need to add your products in Catalogue Management on your dashboard.
2. Then go to Stock Management menu and select ‘enable stock tracking’
3. Select the product items you would like to track.
- By default, all items are selected but you can choose to deselect those that you don’t want to track.
3. Select ‘Save’
4. The selected product items are now being tracked
5. You can now manage your stock items by clicking on ‘Actions’. Here you can add new stock, remove stock, view your stock history or stop tracking your stock.
6. To export your stock items to an excel spreadsheet, click on 'Export'
7. To add product items that are not been tracked, click on 'Manage stock items'
